Honor Band
| Caldwell Parish Junior High Honor Band Selected | ||
Students pictured above were chosen for the Jr. High All-District Honor Band this year. The tryouts included hundreds of students from the surrounding parishes. Being selected allows them the opportunity to attend the All-district Honor Band Clinic on Jan 27-28th. We had four students make this group. In the picture from left to right: Madeline, Savanah, Gabby, and Lauryn. Savanah has made 1st chair two years in a row! Congratulations, students! |

State-Wide Grading Scale Established for 2011-2012
Act 701 of the Louisiana Legislative Session required the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) to adopt a uniform grading scale for use in public elementary and secondary schools. BESE recently approved the following grading scale, which will be used beginning in the 2011-2012 school year for all public schools, in classes where letter grades are used.
